The children performed three mass pieces (To Music - Unison, by Betty Bertaux, Laudamus te - 2part, from Vivaldi's Gloria, Jordan's Angels - SSA, by Rollo Dilworth). CD's and Photo purchases were available. Groups were given time to work on their own two solo selections for the concert.
Was our Festival Clinician, Dr. Andrew Crane - Professor of Music, Cal. State San Bernardino and director of the Mountainside Master Chorale! Dr. Crane received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University, where he studied under David Rayl, Jonathan Reed, and Sandra Snow. Dr. Crane earned undergraduate and master's degrees from Brigham Young University, under the tutelage of Ronald Staheli and Mack Wilberg.
A lyric tenor, he has had much experience in performing a variety of styles on the concert stage.
